The FJN membership criteria for 2019 have been revised.
In general, after admission using the criteria in year X, each journal will be assessed at year X+5 against the current criteria for that year. Thus existing members do not have to hurry to improve their practices, but eventually do need to react in order to retain membership. The criteria are expected to gradually become more stringent, as recommended best practices become hard criteria.
