A member journal must:
- satisfy the 5 Fair Open Access Principles;
- allow the possibility for authors to publish their paper in English (currently the steering committee has only the expertise to evaluate fully English language journals, with some expertise in Spanish. Contributors with expertise to oversee journals in other languages are welcome);
- clearly display its membership of the network on its homepage;
- be judged to be sufficiently high quality, international, and sustainable by the steering committee.
